You will bring together all of the skills you learned with the 1 st Derivative Test and the 2 nd Derivative Test to draw a sketch of your actual function, f ( x ) . You will not be asked to complete a sketch of a graph on the actual AP Calculus Exam. However, you will definitely be asked to do so on homework, quizzes, and exams in your actual AP Calc class. It will be very important to understand how the 1 st Derivative and 2 nd Derivative data work together on the AP Calculus Exam, and that is really what you are learning and want to take with you from this process.
