Roots or Radicals

Any time we see a root or radical in a problem we need to rewrite it as an exponent, a power. Your main derivative rule is called the power rule, so we want to see all the powers in our equations.

Algebra: Roots and Radical Rewrite Rules

You will need to rewrite all radicals you see as exponents using the power over root algebraic rewrite.
