As the name implies, this method is always going to require you to factor an equation. If your factoring skills aren’t solid yet, you need to do a little extra work to get them solid. This type of problem is not difficult if  you have solid factoring skills. I will say it now, and I will say it again, “Calculus is easy. It’s the algebra that will make or break you.”
